Having studied a wide range of techniques, including Alexander, SLS, and Classical, I will tailor a program that best speaks to your learning language. A background in music is not necessary. I have taught those coming from the worlds of dance, acting, and even math.
Mic technique and stage presence are also taught. My focus is primarily in the complete release of the voice to produce a stress-free sound, no matter what the style or genre. If you have been performing and find yourself having difficulties with your voice, I can help you find out what the cause of the issue is and give you the tools to help you better perform in the future. Furthermore, the issue may be more complex and need the help of a medical expert. I will be able to recommend a highly qualified speech pathologist to help diagnose the issue and provide even more corrective suggestions.
Recordings, most sheet music, coaching, acting, storytelling, and technical skills are all tools I include in ongoing lessons.
